MAB Young Scientist's Award UNESCO

UNESCO's Man & Biosphere (MAB) Project started providing annual scholarships to 10 young researchers sicne 1989 in support of their research on ecosystem, natural resources and biodiversity. Scholarship award is made upto US $ 5000.

The Award targets young researchers carrying out research in line with UNESCO's Man and the Biosphere (MAB) Programme. Priority is given to projects carried-out in biosphere reserves, on the theme of ecosystems and water.

The objective of this scholarship award is to exchange experiences of new generation of scientists especially from developing countries and to encourage them to carry out work in biosphere reserves.
