University of Wah- private university - has been granted Charter by Punjab Assembly. A notification to this effect (Act No.IV of 2009) has been issued on July 08, 2009.
The University is a project of POF (Pakistan Ordinance Factories) Welfare Trust and will offer degrees in varied disciplines.

What will be recognition mechanism of degrees of old students of Wah University. Since the university is operating since 2005 but it gets recognition now, how will old students will get their degrees recognized by the higher education Commission!
University of Wah is emerging university of pakistan. The faculty working here is exceptional performing their duties well. Especially, Biological Sciences Department is extraordinary efficient, the teachers are doing great. Biological Sciences Department is the best department of University of Wah.
