Eligibility:
Academic Requirement; the candidates applying for Master degree in Petroleum Engg should possess Bachelor of Engg degree in Petroleum, Chemical or Mechanical Engg recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Pakistan Engg Council (PEC) and should have first class academic record.
Candidates applying for Master degree in Geo-Science should possess Master degree in Geology or Geophysics recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and should have first class academic record.
Additional Requirements:
Candidates must be Pakistani nationals
Candidates must submit their GRE and TOEFL or IELTS scores with their applications. Minimum scores requirements are as under:
GRE 1200
TOEFL 90
IELTS 6.5
Candidates should have relevant work experience ranging from 1 to 3 years. Those with over 3 years of work experience will not be eligible.
Maximum age limit for eligibility is 32 years as on January 01, 2009.
Bachelor/Masters degree should be completed between 2004 and 2007. Fresh graduates are not eligible.
Only short listed candidates will be called for scholarships interviews.
Selected candidates will be required to secure admission in a foreign university recommended by PPL.
