The University of Wah is a project of POF Welfare Trust and is being established in private sector. Its constituent units comprise:
- Wah Engineering College;
- Wah Medical College;
- Mashal College; and
- Sir Syed College
The POF Welfare Trust, being a non-profit welfare organization, envisages to provide quality education comparatively at lesser fee/charges. The university shall be first university in the city of Wah.
Lt. Gen Syed Sabahat Hussain, Chairman, POF Welfare Trust is the Chancellor of the University, while Dr Khalid Pervez is the Vice Chancellor and Raja Muhammad Nasir Khan is the Registrar of the University of Wah.
The University of Wah is working under NOC from Government of the Punjab and Higher Education Commission and yet to be granted Charter by Government of the Punjab.
